Princess Royal Training Award 2022 winner
Light Foundations was the winner in the Supporting Employees’ Personal Development Journeys category. The organisation’s primary objective is to empower individuals to grow both personally and professionally through comprehensive training, mentorship, and support. To help local young people find jobs, Light Foundations, participated in a program, in partnership with the DWP Kickstart Scheme 2021-2022, that aimed to sharpen the skills and work experience of ten new employees, substantially boosting their employability prospects. As a result, 90% of the staff landed full-time, sustainable employment, after completing the program.

We have been working with UK Skills Training and placed young people in our Traineeships.
In collaboration with West London Hub, we supported 15 students by hosting a min career event, MP came, and local employers
Digital inclusion project supporting 6 volunteers.
Databank program information supported over 60 local people accessing their internet.
Hong Kong Welcome Programme Year 1 & 2 – Light Foundations was one of 42 organisations that supported Hong Kong BN(O)s through accredited Anglia ESOL examinations and employability support. This initiative was recognised by No.10 and instrumental in the integration of the Hong Kong community into British society. Over 100 Hong Kongers have been supported with 40% gaining paid employment, and 100% gaining Anglia ESOL Examination qualifications at different levels. This was funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing & Communities.

Census Support Centre 2021
Light Foundations was awarded by The Good Things Foundation for contributions towards supporting households and individuals complete the Census 2021.
BE MOGUL Award 2016 Winner
The founder of Light Foundations was awarded for her contribution to British communities and the economy through the community work of Light Foundations.
Accreditations
Light Foundations is an approved Anglia English Examination Centre and Franchise offering English Examinations in different levels of English qualifications including UCAS Level 3 as Entry qualifications to the UK universities and colleges, in the UK.
