We are excited to announce that we have successfully supported over 500 Hong Kong BN(O) individuals in achieving their accreditation, including Conversational ESOL with a focus on employability skills. Our programme is designed to enhance their English language skills and empower them to enter the UK job market with confidence, promoting their integration into UK society. This achievement is a result of the Hong Kong BN(O) Welcome Programme Years 1 & 2, as well as the HK BN(O) English Language & Destitution Support, which is funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, along with the Mayor of London in conjunction with the Local Authorities.

We also successfully completed our Ealing Hong Kong BN(O) Welcome Project 2023, which was a collaboration with the Ealing Council and funded by the Mayor of London. We supported 46 HKs in Ealing and surrounding areas, exceeding our agreed target, through various workshops and traineeships. Our aim was to enlighten them about the different career paths available and how to pursue them. Our monthly workshops provided industry-specific information on sectors such as health, business start-ups, employability skills, and construction. We also offered volunteering opportunities to gain experience and taught how to build networks to increase chances of finding employment in desired fields.

We are currently collaborating with Hackney Council and supported by Hackney Chinese Community Services to offer Conversational ESOL, covering; General, Business and Self-care English topics to the HK BN(O) community funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing & Communities. These courses are designed to enhance speaking, writing, and listening skills, with an emphasis on conversational English. The Business English topics includes employability assistance, enabling you to improve your CV and interview skills, which we believe will increase your chances of finding employment.
